| Services I offer complete services, from making quilts from start to finish and just quilting and finishing options. This page outlines the available services and current pricing. For a quote on services for your quilt, please contact me. Machine Quilting Styles of available quilting designs range from pantograph (edge-to-edge) patterns, freehand edge-to-edge and custom. Quilt top and borders should be non-wavy, squared up and lie flat. Longarm quilting will not magically fix uneven borders that may cause a quilt to have tucks or stretch out of shape when quilted. There are several good instructions also available on the internet. Pricing is generally determined by the size of your quilt and complexity of the quilting design. Pricing starts at $0.015 (1.5 cents) per square inch up to $0.4 (4 cents) per square inch. Multiply the length by the width of your quilt top. Then multiply that by the quilting style cost shown below. This will provide you with an estimated cost only. For an accurate price quote and additional details, please set up an appointment with me to discuss your quilting needs. My minimum studio charge is $35.00. Binding I provide two different double-fold binding options in addition to quilting, for those that prefer not to attach the binding themselves. Binding price is charged by the running foot (rf). To determine the running foot (rf) measurement of your quilt, use the formula below: (length + width) x 2 = ________, divided by 12 = Total rf (round up to the nearest 1/2 foot) Option #1: $2.00/rf Includes trimming the quilt after quilting, making the binding (you provide the fabric) and machine stitching it to the quilt top. Hand-stitching the binding to the back of the quilt is done by the customer. Option #2: $2.50/rf Includes everything in Option #1 and I will hand-stitch the binding in place on the back of your quilt. Note: I do not apply satin or blanket binding. If you are interested in my binding service, you will need to provide extra cotton fabric for the binding when dropping off your quilt.
